Pop Goes the Artist!

I got the easel a week or so ago, then a little while back I went to Utrecht and picked up a canvas and some newsprint, then spent a few days just staring at them, since I didn’t have time to do anything else.  But over the past few days, I’ve had enough time to paint the whole canvas beige, do the sketch, and transfer it.  I’ve even begun painting the background a rather lovely shade of blue.  I’ll probably take a picture of it “in progress” once there’s a little more to see, but at the moment, I don’t have any large chunks of free time to work.  (But maybe I would, if I actually knew how to manage my time…)

Either way: “Blue Lucy” is begun.  Exciting!
