					<description>[...] Speaking of killer pencil still lifes, the track still life won the senior art award and earned me $50, the first money I&#8217;ve ever made from my artwork.  Actually it won along with Liz and her cherries, but I can deal with that.  I wanted that prize ever since the first Honors Assembly freshman year, and behold! I actually achieved a goal.  The picture is now the property of the Mount and will hopefully hang somewhere in the gym.  So yay.  I think I&#8217;ll blow the money on art supplies.
